L'Estampe Moderne was a leading French publisher of original French prints in the late nineteenth century. The publication was published by Imprimerie Champenois, Paris. Almost all the lithographs were commissioned. Each print has the L'Estampe Moderne official Blindstamp.

|BERTON, Armand (1854-1927). Rieuse. Brown and white lithograph of a face of a young girl in reverie. The fading of the girl's hair into the background of the lithograph gives it its etherial qualities. This vision is typical of the sybolist portraiture of the Turn of the Century from Boldini to Levy-Dhurmer. Sheet Size 16 x 12"|
|BUSSIERE, Gaston (1862-1929) Brunehild. 1899. Gaston Bussière's most famous lithograph, Brunehild, published by L'Estampe Moderne. Was later reworked as an etching in 1901 and as an engraving in 1903; it reflects the artist's passion for the operas of Wagner. Sheet Size 16 x 12"|
|DARBOUR, Gaston (1869-Died Unknown). Jeune Fille aux Coquelicots. August 1897 issue. Bright red and green lithograph of a young girl holding two large flowers on her forehead. Decorative floral details in both foreground and background. This Art Nouveau lithograph harks back to Eugene Grasset and Viollet-Le-Duc in its decorative detail. 10 1/2 x 13" Sheet Size 12 x 16"|
DHURMER. Levy (1865-1953). Belle D'Antan. Levy Dhurmer's portraits have been described as the essence of aesthetcism. The other worldly attitude of these portraits are the culmination of the fine-de-siecle. In this lithographic portrait, we are inclined to agree with the critic Gabriel Mourey who wrote,"…as in all Levy-Dhurmer does, we find the same striving to express the invisible and andthe deep seated…". 11 1/2 x 9" Sheet Size 16 x 12"

|GIRARDOT, Louis Auguste (1856-1933). Femme du Riff. May 1897 issue. French Contributor to L'Estampe Moderne and noted for his Morroccan scenes. Nothing is known of this very gifted artist except that she aroused great enthusiasm in Jean Lorrain and other Art critics when she exhibited in 1893.
